Wind-solar water pumping system and electrical system in Gambia to supply water and electricity on demand.
The factory group installed a wind-solar water pumping and electrical system in Gambia with a capacity of 2800 Wp for an orphanage. In this system batteries are used for energy storage to supply water and electricity on demand, even during nighttime.
The submersible Lorentz pump works on a three phase DC current directly from the batteries. Besides, an AC inverter is installed for electrical equipment needed in the buildings, with a capacity of 2,5 kW. As an extension of the system a small wind turbine of 1,5 kW on an 18 m tower has been added three years after the primary installation.
