The Leeuwarden solar park was realized in spring 2018. A marshy leftover land without function has been transformed into a productive sustainable energy installation. The park has been running at full capacity since the beginning of the summer and supplies electricity to 1750 households. The solar panels deliver 910 kWp of energy and the windmill adds 900 kW. Together with partner Schneider Electric, the Off-Grid Factory supplied the 15 Conext inverters (CL20 and CL60) for the entire park. Now that the realization of the solar park is a fact, we are looking at whether the surplus of energy can be stored in batteries in a smart way.
